Biography

Don't let the name above my photo fool you. Yes, I am WAS one of the most recognizable writers in the heating and cooling (HVAC) trade in my position as Business Editor for The Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration News, where I am a three-time winner of the top columnist award for the Midwest U.S. as judged by the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE), but I am MUCH more.

I am a published book author -- the latest is "Profit Tips 1.1.1" (http://pptd549.online-access1.com/webapp/GetPage?pid=223), accomplished freelance writer for local newspapers and nationally-renowned business consultants, and an active volunteer for such outstanding organizations as The Red Cross, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Salvation Army, and the Parade Company (Detroit).

Although I am "semi-retired" I continue to work as a full-time school bus monitor for special needs kids in suburban Northville, Michigan.

I work and reside in suburban Detroit with my wife of 25 years (2016), Janet. We have two children Ryan and McKenna. I am a graduate of Michigan State University with a B.A. in Journalism.

I love to write and I love to CREATE. I am not the least expensive writer but if you want the best, you pay for the BEST. Have a great day!

Oh yes -- one more thing -- I am also an entertaining seminar instructor, well, an aspiring one. Let me know if you'd like me to talk in front of your group (adults or kids).
